WHO WE ARE

As a first time home owner, I knew I needed help to set up my new place. Thanks to Doris' guidance, expertise, knowledge, experience, she was able to take a bland space and transformed it into a beautiful living space all the while taking into account my taste, preference and budget. She was able to come up with creative ways to create storage where there was none in every nook and cranny. To take a blank kitchen and transformed it into a striking kitchen thanks to her choosing of tiles in creating a not-so-basic-backsplash as well as putting in floating shelves to liven the kitchen area. An empty shell of a living/ dining room area and transformed it into a cozy living/ dining area. She took my many objects of souvenirs from my travels around the world and used them ingeniously to incorporate them into the décor throughout my place. She took some batik fabrics from my travel to Southeast Asia and had them sewn into decorative cushions for my bed. Display the tea pots from my China’s travel on the kitchen’s floating shelves. She even took some prints from my stay in Paris and used it to elevate the bathroom. I had called Doris in a panic as we had 3 weeks to move in and wasted time with a contractor. We needed wood floors redone and a complete kitchen remodel. Doris immediately, that same night. had the project underway with her professional team. Our floors were done in time to move in and without Doris that could not have happened. Doris understood our vison and made it happen. With her patience and guidance we now have our dream kitchen which we never imagined could be possible. Doris was a truly great designer and project manager and we feel so lucky to have found her! She is an excellent communicator, and was able to listen to our ideas, take time to figure out our style, and present her own ideas and suggestions without ever pushing too much. Our meetings were always such fun! She was great about keeping our budget in mind, and had some really creative ideas to save us money. She also was able to find us a great team of contractors, and checked in on their work almost every day. She has a great eye for detail.
